The Old Bakehouse (trading as The Pyet) occupies a prominent trading location in the heart of West Linton. The town is home to a resident population of 2000, but this number keeps growing with continued house building over the last few years.

West Linton is a popular and sought after commuter town benefitting from a more tranquil semi-rural setting yet retaining a close link with Edinburgh. The capital is only 16 miles to the north and easily accessed via the A702 which runs through the town.
